MutaMarket is a site for abyssal modules in EVE Online. You can look up what a module is worth, see what is currently for sale, sell your own, and keep track of what you have rolled.
Browsing and appraising work without an account. Everything else needs one: selling, offers, collections, the workbench, notes, bookmarks and assets.
Making an account
There is no signup form. You log in with an EVE character through EVE SSO, and that character becomes your account. Click the portrait icon in the top right, or go to the login page.
EVE will ask you to approve a few permissions. MutaMarket uses them to read your assets, look up structures you have access to, read your contracts, and open windows in your client when you click something like "open contract in game". You can revoke them at any time on EVE's own account page.
Several characters on one account
You can attach as many characters as you like. Open the character menu (the portrait in the top right) and pick "Add character", then log in with the alt. It joins the account you are already signed in to.
The same menu lists your characters. Clicking one switches to it. Whichever character is active is the one you act as, so it is who sends offers and messages, and who new collections belong to.
Removing a character and granting corporation access both live under Characters and access in your settings. You cannot remove your last character.
If a character's EVE permissions run out or were never granted, a dot appears on the portrait and the menu offers "Review missing access", which takes you to the same place.
Settings
Settings has four parts.
Notifications picks which of your characters receives in-game mail from MutaMarket, for things like offers and raffle wins.
Linked accounts connects Discord, Twitch and Patreon. Discord is the useful one: link it and offer notifications arrive as direct messages. Each can optionally show on your public character page. Patreon supporters browse without ads.
Characters and access is where you add or remove characters and see exactly which EVE permissions each one has granted.

How the site looks
Display settings are not in the settings page. They live on the module lists themselves, where you can switch between grid, list and table, change how attribute bars are drawn, and turn roll scores on or off. Your choices stick between visits. Browsing the market covers them.
